Azure Site recovery (ASR) – VMWARE/Physical to Azure – New way to implement

Hello everyone,

Before 4 days from now (11/Jan/2016), Mr. Abhishek (Senior Program Manager, Cloud + Enterprise) and Azure team announced the new way of implementing ASR with VMWARE, Customers can now protect and replicate their VMware virtual machines and physical servers to Azure, without the need to deploy any replication or orchestration components in Azure IaaS, this will reduce the cost in addition to the technical efforts.

Also I can see that Microsoft add the test failover feature to VMWARE ASR, so you can test the failover without any effect for the production environment which will be added value for all customers whose need to test the failover in schedule time basis
